The project is located in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, and is composed of a shopping mall, a lifestyle center, offices, a five-star hotel, SOHO offices, and apartments. With consideration of traffic access, the locations of the towers take advantage of the view of the nearby Yangtze River.
The project is a confluence of a mixed-use retail and a transportation hub. Surrounded by major city roads, there are two light rail stations and a bus station to gather people from different directions into the project, which is further connected to phase 2 with bridges and tunnels. This pedestrian circulation is carefully studied together with vehicular circulations to avoid any crisscrossing by carefully locating drop-offs and parking entries. The result is to reduce traffic impact on city roads; meanwhile, while enhancing the retail experience.
