Tianjin, abbreviated as Jin, is located at the confluence of five major tributaries of the Haihe River on the North China Plain. It borders the Bohai Sea to the east and the Yanshan Mountains to the north. The Haihe River meanders through the city, serving as Tianjin’s mother river. Situated on the lower reaches of the Haihe River, Tianjin spans both banks, stretching 189 kilometers from north to south and 117 kilometers from west to east. It is a vital transportation hub connecting Beijing to Northeast and East China by rail and a key port for ocean shipping, earning it the titles of “Important River and Sea Route” and “Gateway to the Capital Region.” The project site is located in Dongli District, Tianjin, 13 kilometers from the city center.
